Greg Fuqua’s work is a combination of his fascination with nature, science and forces of matter. His images need no preparation; they are images that evolve as he moves through the creative process. Fuqua received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa and a Master of Fine Arts degree at New Mexico State University.

Greg Fuqua has been the 2D/3D Artist-in-Residence at the Octagon Center for the Arts for two years. Fuqua teaches painting and drawing classes at the Octagon. BeginningJanuary 2008, Fuqua will be instructing Personalized Painting on Mondays, January 14 – March 17, from 7 – 9 pm and Figure Drawing Skills on Wednesdays, January 23 – April 2 and April 9 – May 28, from 7 – 9 pm.
