The Octagon Art Shop features fine art and craft by more
than 200 regional artists. These unique and handcrafted items are perfect for gift giving or for your self and include pottery, jewelry, fiber, glass, wood, paintings, photography, cards and more.

If you are traveling, see us for special mementos and Iowa-made gifts to share with friends and family. Our staff is ready to answer questions, help you make a selection or place special orders and commissions. We offer layaway, purchasing on approval, shipping and free gift wrapping.

Trunk Show of handpainted silk scarves, home and personal accessories by textile artist Jan Gipple. Saturday, June 20, 11 am – 2 pm Octagon Gallery Shop, 427 Douglas, downtown Ames   Interior designer and colorist Jan Gipple’s silk scarves and handmade accessories are composed of joyful abstract geometrics in luscious, shimmering hues. Whether given as a gift or for yourself, these one-of-a-kind accessories are individually designed to provide a special, artistic statement.
