Adult Classes

 

 

Supplies can be found at the ISU Memorial Union Book Store or Campus Book Store.

 

Pre-stretched canvas(es) (at least 11" x 14") or primed masonite or other hard surface, sketch paper (Newsprint)

 

Acrylic or Oil Starter set in the following colors:

(If using acrylic paint, heavy bodied acrylics recommended)

 

                        Medium Cadmium Red

                        Pthalo or Cobalt Blue

                        Medium Yellow

                        Titanium White

                        Mars Black

Additionally, buy/bring any other colors of paint that attract your eye, including both natural and brighter colors.

 

                        Assortment of stiff Bristol brushes

                        Linseed Oil

                        Oderless mineral spirits or solvent

                        Medium sized sealable containers for paint and cleaning brushes

 

 

                        Assortment of stiff and soft Bristol Brushes

                        Containers for water – Octagon has some if needed

                        Acrylic gloss medium
