 The Octagon working in hand with Works of Glass would like to introduce a beginners class in leaded stained glass. Leaded stained glass is the process of cutting glass and laying the pieces between lead came. This technique gives your art panel the strong lines, gentle curves, and a rich look. This class, taught by a Lead Master with over six year experience, will teach you how to select the glass, prepare your pattern, cut the glass and lead each piece. Due to the use of lead we ask that all students be 18 and older, and also not pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breast feeding for safety reasons. Class size is limited six, so register as soon as possible.=0D=0A=

In this interactive class, you’ll get the chance to create a mini comic book about your favorite super-hero, a character you come up with, or even your own life! It’s all up to you.  During this 2 hour workshop, participants will receive hands on practice formulating essential skin care products for the face including Make-up Remover, Cleanser, Toner, Exfoliate, Mask and Moisturizer. Each product will be specifically created to support individual skin type and conditions. Participants will take home samples of all products made in class and will receive a course manual packed with information and recipes.=0D=0A=

 During this 2 hour workshop, participants will receive hands on practice formulating essential skin care products for the Body including Luxury Bath Treatments, Body Scrubs and Polishes, Hand and Foot Treatments and Body Oils. A demonstration on Dry Brushing and a discussion on its benefits will also be presented. Participants will take home samples of all products made and will receive a course manual packed with information and recipes.=0D=0A=

 Come and create your very own set of fused glass jewelry that will include a set of earrings, necklace and a bracelet this November 6th from 12 to 2. The Octagon has joined with local Kil’n Time Studio to create this one of a kind workshop. Gather friends and family to create custom jewelry just in time for the holidays.
